In order to allow all applications we need an optimal neutron flux distribution. The MYRRHA system is being designed to reach these goals. To do this, we have a number of design parameters that need to be set. Some of these are fixed by choice, others have a limited range. The key issue of the design is to find the optimal combination of parameters that will give the required flux distribution. For this the MYRRHA system is split up in separate but interacting parts. |
